CALIGULA APPOINTS HIS HORSE “INCITATUS” FOR CONSUL AND PRIEST

Rome 40B.C. Emperor Cayo Julio Cesar Augusto Germanico, known as “Caligula” has appointed his beloved horse “Incitatus” for consul and priest, in a new proof of his insanity.

Roman people suffer his sadism everyday. Among his best known insanities, we find he episode of Alejandro Magno’s disinterment to steal his breastplate, and the castration of the gladiator “Longinus” because he hada a longer penis than his.

According to his maxim “Oderint dum metuant” (why not let them hate us, as long as they fear us) the emperor has decided to murder his slaves, gladiators, and even some aristocrats (not before forcing them to bequeath him their wealth).

He was famous by his sadic way to practise sex (he destroyed Valerio Catulo’s kidneys) and his incestuous relations with his 3 sisters.

High society women were called and Caligula forced them to practise prostitution threatening to kill them.
